I recently completed a Yuko training course on permanent hair straightening in Hampstead, London. Yuko offers a premium hair straightening system, that was established in Japan in 1996 and bought over to the UK in 2001.
The straightening system is designed to control frizz, fight curl and make managing your unruly hair, easier and that is exactly what it does! On the second days training I took a model with me, Tia, who has a mixture of Afro-Caribbean and Caucasian hair and the results were outstanding! As you can see in the photos...
As Yuko is now being introduced initially into the Spires salon in East Grinstead (Copthorne will come later on) I am currently looking for models to develop the service to its next level before it is properly launched.
So, could this be for you?... I am looking for any length hair that has a mind of its own, unruly, unmanageable and you may be at the point of pulling your hair out. Before any Yuko service can be carried out all clients must be available to come in before hand for an in depth consultation with myself. To be suitable for A Yuko treatment, your hair must not be highlighted (permanent and semi permanent colours are okay, as long as they have been done at least 2 weeks before your treatment is due to be carried out, please note that colour may fade slightly and we recommend not applying colour for at least 2 weeks after). This treatment is also safe to have if you are pregnant!
There are many similar systems on the market but after 2 years of research Yuko is the choice as it has an established reputation which, fits with how Spires like to do things and the products used are completely safe.
Over the next few weeks I will be letting you know how I am progressing with this exciting new service and hearing from Tia on how she is finding her newly controlled locks!!
Love, Ellie x
